Like many of us twenty years ago, Bianca Elizalde wasn't as enlightened as she is now about wellness and nutrition. She started reading up on the topic and through her own research, discovered its importance in a lifelong wellness journey. As she embraced a healthier lifestyle, Bianca wanted to share the importance of listening to one's body and nourishing it based on its needs. Many factors come into play to achieve holistic wellness, but she believes eating healthy is at the core.
Bianca's path to promoting healthy eating emerged from her experiences traveling abroad. While healthy meals were readily available overseas, it wasn't the same case in the Philippines. Driven by their genuine passion for healthy eating, Bianca and her husband established The Wholesome Table as an extension of their practices at home, offering delicious food options prepared with much thought and consideration for the body’s needs. Their restaurant has since evolved into a platform for sharing Bianca's personal advocacy of promoting mindful eating without compromising on flavor.
Family meals hold so much significance for Bianca Elizalde. As she learned more about nutrition, she became more conscious and discerning of certain food's effects on the body. Little by little, this mom of four changed her family's eating habits until healthy eating became second nature to her kids.

Those habits were formed through the consistent practice of eating together at home. These moments allow them to connect better and deeper and develop a healthier relationship with food. It is also through preparing their food together that mindfulness is observed in their home every day.
